Erick's Story
Erick Slabaugh is a CEO, Portfolio Entrepreneur, Strategic Advisor, Mentor & Board Member.
At 19, Erick took over a family business mired in debt speeding down a runway toward catastrophe. He learned how to be an entrepreneur the hard way: with his sleeves rolled up. Erick steered the business, step by step, back from the brink of failure.
Erick relied on the core values that acted as a compass guiding him forward: integrity, humility, leadership, and character. In the process, he learned that core values are the true economic engine of the types of businesses that withstand the test of time.
Erick serves as the CEO of Absco Solutions, a 40+ year market veteran in the facility security and fire-life safety industry, as well as CEO of FCP Insight, a cloud-based enterprise software solution for electrical contracting businesses. A former member of the EO Global Board of Directors, Erick is a long-standing member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Seattle chapter and serves on numerous other Boards.
